Ben Walter鈥媠 was appointed interim treasurer in October 2024. He oversees the University鈥檚 cash management, banking and financial service provider relationships, investments, long-term debt, insurance and environmental health and safety. The Office of the Treasurer is central to maintaining the short and long-term financial health and capital financing needs of the University.
Walters joined the university as a staff member in 2003 and has served in various operational functions. Prior to being named interim treasurer, Walters was senior treasury manager, responsible for day-to-day cash operations, payment processes, debt compliance and cash flow forecasting. He received his BA and MA in history and MBA from 麻豆影院 and is an AFP certified treasury professional.
