Receive Your Financial Aid

If you meet all requirements for your financial aid, the funds will be credited directly to your student account. These credits, called "disbursements," will post to your account approximately 10 days before the start of each term. See Important Dates for each academic term’s initial disbursement dates.

Disbursed aid funds are first applied to outstanding tuition costs, then to any housing costs or university fees. Financial aid disbursements in excess of your Â鶹ӰԺ charges will be refunded to you, in accordance with the disbursement rules of each financial aid program. In general, your financial aid is evenly split over the terms in which you plan to enroll during the academic year. For example, if you are enrolled fullÌýtime and receive a $3,000 scholarship, you generally will receive a $1,000 disbursement at the beginning of the Fall,ÌýWinter and Spring terms.
